I’m Sunshine—someone who knows what it’s like to live a life that doesn’t fit neatly into a “before and after” story...
“She’s authentic and straightforward—and does it with love and kindness.”
About Sunshine
I’ve lived a life with sharp edges—loss, instability, hard resets, and responsibility that shows up early. It taught me how to keep functioning while my nervous system was loud, how to rebuild when support disappears, and how to keep moving when the people who should show up… don’t.
That lived experience is why my work feels different. I’m not shocked by messy. I’m not scared of hard emotions. And I don’t need you to perform your pain in a tidy, inspiring way to deserve support here.

How I show up
My Friend Sunshine is trauma-informed, non-clinical support for women (cis and trans) and other LGBTQIA+ people in major transition seasons. I’m the steady, truth-telling presence who helps you do the hard thing without doing it alone.
You can expect:
No performance required. Show up real, not polished.
Truth with care. Direct, but never degrading.
Action with heart. We talk, we feel, and we still take a step.
Clear agreements. You deserve to rely on someone who shows up the way they agreed.
If you’ve spent your life being the one everyone depends on, My Friend Sunshine is built for you. It’s your turn to receive support that’s steady, unflinching, and real.
My Friend Sunshine is the no-bullshit friend in your corner when life blows up or finally breaks open. I provide trauma-informed, emotionally honest, and deeply practical support for women - including trans women - and other LGBTQIA+ people who are redefining themselves after major transitions and milestones in life.
I walk with you through the hard moments when it feels like you’re completely alone or your existing support system isn’t strong enough to hold who you’re becoming. This work is intentional and personal for me, and it’s the profit engine that lets me turn the tools and care we build here into resources for people who don’t yet have access to this level of support.
My Mission
My Vision
My Friend Sunshine is building a community where women - including trans women - and other LGBTQIA+ people who have survived chaos, control, and erasure don’t have to rebuild alone. I want a world where post-traumatic growth is expected, resourced, and celebrated instead of pathologized or ignored.
The long-term vision is a repeatable model of high-end, lived-experience support that proves you can thrive without traditional systems, and then uses that success to seed accessible, community-based options in more places for more people.
My Purpose
My Friend Sunshine exists to turn my own post-traumatic growth into leverage: every hard-earned lesson, system, and scar becomes raw material to help other women - including trans women - and other LGBTQIA+ people step out of survival mode and into lives that actually fit them.
I’m here to stand beside you in the mess — swearing a little, laughing when we can, crying when we have to — and to make sure you are seen, backed, and believed while you build something better than what you were given.
